Fabric Fat

Quilters: What size of fabric pieces do you like to buy? Fat quarters? Regular half yards?

I bought a bunch of fabric pieces at an auction. They had come from a store closeout, I think. Everything is bigger than fat quarters. How would you suggest I sell it? Cut it down to fat quarters or leave it as is? If I were to have coordinating colors, prints and solids, would you want fat quarters of the prints and how much of the solids? As I say, all the pieces are larger than fat quarters. Any help would be appreciated.

Quilters prefer 100% cotton, which is more important than the size and shape of pieces you sell. If you aren’t sure of the fiber content, quilters are not your market.

Either fat quarters or half yard pieces are acceptable ways to sell quilting fabric. If you are selling a package of coordinates, I suggest a fat quarter of each fabric in the set.
