Veritas is renowned for for its sophistication that compliments any table setting, whether simple or ornate. This collection ranges from a generous goblet to a dainty liquerur glass. The collection is available with a slender rim of either platinum or gold delicately defining the lip and base of each piece.
Each piece consists of three layers of glass which are blown together and then cut and polished by hand into18 facets, making for deep hues that vary according to the angle of viewing. The faceted bowl and plate mark a departure for Artel, which until now has specialized in glassware engraved by hand. Yet the new line of cut glass available in two styles and in colors of amber, black, blue, chartreuse, chestnut, and rose lack none of the panache for which Artel is known.
With hand engraved motifs on brilliant, mouth blown crystal, Artel mixes tradition and whimsy creating modern classics.
